RSHE
Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) is lifelong learning about physical, sexual, moral and emotional development. It is about the understanding of the importance of stable and loving relationships, respect, love and care for family life. It involves acquiring information, developing skills and forming positive beliefs, values and attitudes.
By law, primary schools are required to teach relationships and health education, alongside National Curriculum Science and within the context of Safeguarding.

At Calverton Primary School, we acknowledge that parents/carers are a child’s first and most effective teacher and that is why we believe it is essential that our parents are part of the planning process and are fully informed.
Schools are legally required to teach the content of the National Curriculum and as a result, what is taught is ultimately the decision for the school.
